冬至是最重要的節(jié)氣之一，也是我國的傳統(tǒng)節(jié)日。為了弘揚(yáng)中華傳統(tǒng)文化，提高學(xué)生的生存技能，豐富學(xué)生的課余生活，12月20日上午，愛和城高級中學(xué)留學(xué)部開展了迎冬至包餃子活動(dòng)。

Winter solstice is one of the most important solar terms and is also a traditional festival in China. Students in AIA are organized to make dumplings last Sunday to carry forward traditional Chinese culture, to improve their survival skills and to enrich their extracurricular life. 

八點(diǎn)半鐘，包餃子活動(dòng)開始了。學(xué)生們在老師的組織下，把手洗得干干凈凈，系上圍裙，戴上口罩，興奮地來到寬敞明亮的餐廳。

Students arrived early at the dining room. And then, they washed their hands and put on the aprons and masks with excitement.

細(xì)心周到的廚師已經(jīng)準(zhǔn)備好了肉餡和菜陷。首先，大廚給學(xué)生們介紹了各種調(diào)料的作用，并詳細(xì)講解了配陷的注意事項(xiàng)和調(diào)料的用量。

The chef prepared the stuffing well and introduced how to make it delicious.

這邊，耐心的面點(diǎn)師給學(xué)生們介紹了和面的步驟要領(lǐng)和水面配比。

Here, the patient cook introduced how to make dough. 

學(xué)生們一個(gè)個(gè)摩拳擦掌，躍躍欲試，在廚師和面點(diǎn)師的指導(dǎo)下，開始實(shí)踐，熱火朝天地拌陷、和面。

Students were fully prepared and they were eager to try. Under the patient guidance of the chef and cook, they started with joy. 

剛搟出了幾個(gè)皮，學(xué)生們迫不及待地動(dòng)手包起了餃子。熱情的外教也加入包餃子的行列，和孩子們一起體驗(yàn)了包餃子的樂趣，陪孩子們度過了一個(gè)愉快而美好的周末！

Foreign teacher Isaac also came to make dumplings together.

孩子們制作了各式各樣的餃子，一個(gè)個(gè)儼然生活小能手！一張張臉陽光燦爛，滿是歡悅?？靵砜匆豢?，瞧一瞧，我們誰做的餃子皮兒最薄、餡兒最大？誰的餃子最奇特？

開煮啦~熱氣騰騰的美味餃子出鍋啦，快快大口朵頤，學(xué)生們享受著自己的勞動(dòng)果實(shí)，心里樂開了花。

感謝暖心的餐廳工作人員，蒸熟了形狀各異的創(chuàng)意餃子，保證了最佳的食用口感。感謝餐廳工作人員的傾力支持和暖心準(zhǔn)備，讓孩子們收獲了一個(gè)既快樂又有意義的冬至！

Thanks to the kind-hearted staff, they helped steam the dumplings of huge size and various shapes to ensure the best taste. Owing to their support and preparation, students spent a happy and meaningful winter solstice!

通過這樣有意義的喜迎冬至—包餃子活動(dòng)，加深了學(xué)生們對中國傳統(tǒng)文化的理解，也鍛煉了孩子們的動(dòng)手能力，培養(yǎng)了孩子們熱愛生活、熱愛勞動(dòng)的情操，有利于孩子們養(yǎng)成勤于探索、樂于實(shí)踐的好習(xí)慣。

This activity not only deepens students’ understanding of Chinese traditional culture, but also trains their hands-on skills. It also cultivates their enthusiasm towards life and labor work. Students have developed the good habit of being diligent in exploration and practice.
